Pre-oxidized PAN Fiber (OPF) is an inherent flame-retardant high-temperature material made from PAN precursor fiber via oxidation treatment. Without flame retardant additives, it will not melt or drip when exposed to flame, only carbonize slowly. It features low smoke, non-toxic, flexible and easy processing. Widely applied in new energy battery thermal protection, industrial high-temperature sealing, rail transit, marine fire protection, and serves as ideal reinforcing substrate for aerogel insulation blankets.
